The Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic and Research), Professor Babajide Alo has called for the active participation of academic members of staff of the University in the 8^th Annual Research Conference and Fair tagged “UNILAG GOLDEN JUBILEE RESEARCH CONFERENCE AND FAIR” scheduled for November 6 to 8, 2012.

The Deputy Vice-Chancellor made the call in a letter addressed to all academic members of staff. Below is the full text of the letter:

Dear Colleague,

In furtherance to an initial letter written to you by the Chairman, UNILAG Golden Jubilee Research Conference and Fair, Prof. F.A. Falade, I write to personally request for your active participation at this 8^th Annual Research Conference and Fair tagged “UNILAG GOLDEN JUBILEE RESEARCH CONFERENCE AND FAIR”.

The University Management is organizing this event as a special part of the activities to mark the 50^th anniversary celebration of the University.  It is intended that this Conference will build on the achievements of the past ones especially the 7^th edition that was held in October 2011.

The Central Research Committee (CRC) requests that you prepare adequately for this Research Conference & Fair and help to publicize the programme among colleagues in other Universities in Nigeria and abroad through e-mail and text messages.  Please remember that the Faculty Best Researchers will be selected from the Poster Presentations at the Conference.

Accepted papers for this Conference will be published in the Conference Proceedings that will be made available at the point of registration.  Successfully reviewed papers will be processed for publication in the appropriate Faculty Journal.

Please note that the deadline for full paper submission is now extended to September 15, 2012 in order to give more time for you to make your submission.
