The verification exercise of the National Pension Commission, Abuja for members of staff due to retire between January and December 2013 and employees who have already retired but are yet to be enrolled by the commission, will hold on July 26 and 27, 2012 at the University of Lagos Sport Centre, Main Campus, Akoka.

Affected employees are advised to come for the exercise with the original copies of the under-listed documents for sighting as well as photocopies of the same documents fully endorsed by the institution’s Desk officer for submission during the exercise:

1. Letter of Appointment;
   
2. Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age;
3. Promotion letter and pay slip indicating grade level and step as at June 30, 2004, 2006 and 2007;
4. Letter from the University signifying retirement and first appointment dates, grade level and step as at June 30, 2004 as well as the current grade level and step;
5. Letter of Indemnity in case of voluntary retirement stating the amount paid as pension and or gratuity if any;
6. Authenticated past records of service;
   
7. Current payslip indicating grade level and step; and
8. Evidence of registration with a Pension Fund Administrator (PFA) indicating Personal Identification Number (PIN).
