Applications are invited from qualified candidates for admission into the Pre-Degree Programme in French for the 2011/2012 Session. The Programme is designed for those who are interested in the study of French for a Bachelor of Arts Degree at the University of Lagos. Successful candidates will proceed into the Foundation Programme, which will lead to 200 Level Bachelor of Arts Degree in French, or may wish to sit for the UTME (University Tertiary Matriculation Examinations) after the completion of the Programme. However, credits in at least 5 relevant subjects at one sitting are required to enroll in the Foundation.
The Programme duration is eight (8) months. Programme Period: February, 2012 – September, 2012
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
For admission into this Programme, candidates are required to possess O/L credits in Mathematics, English Language, two Arts subjects and one more subject at not more than one sitting for registration.
METHOD OF APPLICATION: The cost of application is N10, 000.00 + N200.00 Bank Commission. Prospective applicants should obtain Application Forms at the WEMA BANK, UNILAG Branch. Account No: 0841015213226.
The completed Forms should be submitted to the Human Resources Development Centre (HRDC), University of Lagos, Akoka. Closing date for submission of Form is Thursday, January 26, 2012. A selection examination will be conducted in English Language and Mathematics for all the applicants on Friday, January 27, 2012.

Examination results will be released on Wednesday, January 30, 2012.
